All About Me

My name is Chelsea Egbert and I am from Moss Point, MS. I just recently transfered to Southern Miss from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. I am currently a junior and majoring in Biological Science. I am currently unemployed, but hopefully I can get a job soon. I moved to Laurel, MS, with my brother and sister-in-law so I could go to Southern. I attend church at First Baptist Soso, where I am the drama leader. God is number one on my list of important things in my life. My faith is very important to me, and it is my main focus in life.
As I said before, I am majoring in Biological Science. After I graduate, I want to be a zookeeper at a zoo. It might sound like a lame job, but I will love it. I have loved animals since I was a little girl. I volunteered at an animal shelter for the summer, and I loved every minute of it. Also, I am looking into working at an wildlife reserve after I graduate. Not absolutely sure which I will do, but I do know my career will be dealing with animals in one way or another.
I am currently taking this class, because it is required for my major. At first, I didn't think this class would be any help toward my major or future career, but I quickly changed my mind. From the first lecture, I could tell that this class would help me in more ways than one. I plan on learning how to write in a way that is appropriate for my future job. I want learn how to use the technology that is available and use it to my advantage. I am worried that this class is going to be very demanding and conflict with my other classes and assignments.
